Educational Game for All Ages

Pattern Pursuit is an inclusive educational game that transcends age and developmental abilities, providing a rewarding experience for everyone. For young children, it’s a vibrant playground of colours and shapes, fostering pattern recognition, spatial awareness, and fine motor skills with each peg they place. For seniors in care homes, Pattern Pursuit offers a source of mental stimulation and social interaction, engaging them in an enjoyable activity that supports cognitive health and motor coordination.

Three games to play!

A variety of single player and multiplayer games can be played with this set, including:

Game 1: Copying the Pattern

Players complete the pattern by copying each of the two neutral shades represented on the card using their chosen colours. Once everyone has completed the pattern, the boards are placed next to each other for comparison. Players are encouraged to identify any errors and help each other correct them. This game is designed for 1-4 players.

Game 2: Mirroring the Pattern

First, the player selects a card and copies the pattern onto a single pegboard. Then, a second pegboard is connected to the right, and the player must reflect the pattern onto it. With the available material in the set, this game can be played by up to 2 players at once.

Game 3: Continuing the Pattern

The goal is to initiate the pattern by replicating the peg placements shown on the card, then proceed to complete the pattern using the provided clues. Players must discern the recurring sequence of pegs on each card and continue the pattern until it is fully realised. This game is for 1 player.
