Nexus Silky Pastels Activity Pack

Nexus Silky Pastels are 12 very bright water-soluble pastels they have a silky smooth lay down, no pressure required! They are easy to blend and colour mix when first applied, after 10 + minutes pastels will part dry and be less likely to smudge.

The solid stick of paint can be used with water and a paintbrush,

Nexus Top Tips:
The colours can be laid on top of each other to great effect. Use a sharp implement to remove the top layer to create a scratchboard effect picture ( then place face down onto white new paper rub with a pencil to print. For best results use light colours first then overlay with dark and only use on absorbent materials like paper and card.

Pastels always remain water-soluble use a paintbrush and water to enabling watercolour effects to be created.

Stencilling – Use plastic sheet provided and scissors. Fold plastic sheet cut out a shape place pastels onto plastic around the shape and place onto white paper, with finger rub pastel colour off the plastic onto the paper underneath
